IMMERSION ELECTRODE STEAM GENERATOR

The CAREL HumiSteam steam generator belongs to the immersed-electrode steam humidifier family and was developed specifically for steam bath systems. A reliable and easy-to-install solution that includes all functions, accessories and the controller required to operate the steam cabin.

The controller is a pCO-technology-based SmartSteam Controller, one of the cornerstones of CAREL solutions. A programmable intelligent controller with a large graphical display, which centrally manages all functions and fully automates and optimizes the operation of the steam generator.

Key features and control functions:

• Communication via the main protocols for building management systems. (RS485 Modbus®, BACnet™ and LON – via an external gateway);
• Run-hour counter and alarm log management
• Text-based diagnostic messages and fault log
• Daily and weekly scheduled operation
• Different temperature setpoints for different time periods
• Up to 3 dosing pumps for different essences and 1 for the disinfection cycle
• Operates on mains water and automatically controls water concentration and foam formation
• Control of up to 2 fans and 1 internal light;
• Drain pump assisting scale removal during water draining. If the unit is inactive for a certain period, the system automatically drains the water, thereby preventing water stagnation and the formation of contaminants.
• The humidifier steam output can be continuously modulated between 20–100% of rated capacity based on an external control signal
• Temperature-based control. The temperature sensor is not included as standard; it must be ordered separately (part no.: 130916).

Mechanical components fitted with quick couplings, so maintenance can be carried out quickly, easily and safely.

Clear operation
Thanks to the LCD display, the unit status and diagnostic information are clearly visible.

Hygienic operation
If the unit is inactive for a period, the water drains automatically, preventing stagnant water.

Using the remote terminal mounting kit, the built-in push-button display can be installed up to max. 50m from the steam generator.
