Tips, tricks and practices for efficient pool heating

Is it cost-effective to heat your pool?

Of course! We also tell you how.

We've put together five easy steps that you can take to make your pool heating more cost-effective.  They may seem small, but trust us, in the long run your wallet will thank you.

1. Installation of pool cover

First and foremost, the pool should always be covered or covered when not in use, as evaporative heat loss accounts for around 70-80% of total heat loss.

2. Fairland inverter heat pump operation

Fairland heat pumps operate most efficiently in Silence mode. In this mode, Comfortline and Inverter Plus regulate their output between 20-80%, Inver-X20 between 20-60%.

3. Use of low-power modes

Always set the heat pump to Silence mode after the pool has heated up, to achieve a high average COP value (approx. 16) and low energy consumption.

4. Proper use of circulation pumps

It is important to run the circulating pump continuously during the day, from morning to evening, not intermittently.

In particular, it makes sense to use an inverter pump.

5. Conscious use of a Fairland heat pump

Take into account your bathing habits and set the daily operating time range of the heat pump in the Fairland app so that it makes up for the daily heat loss when the daily temperature is at its highest.
