STD XL 6/4" (internal) / D50 skimmer for concrete pools

High capacity skimmer for concrete pools. Equipped with a skimmer door and locking mechanism to prevent the backflow of debris.

• 1 skimmer is recommended for a water surface not larger than 25 m2.

Skimmers

The task of skimmers is to remove floating debris (e.g. leaves, insects, etc.) from pools. The skimmer basket collects this detritus, therefore, it should be checked weekly. For optimum performance, set the pool water level to the centre of the skimmer opening.
Slow-dissolving chemicals, such as chlorine or flocculant tablets can be put into the skimmer basket, rendering the use of a separate floating chemical dispenser unnecessary. Most skimmer designs enable the vacuum-cleaning of the pool as well.

ABS plastic

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a thermoplastic polymer with good impact resistance, high hardness and strength, good heat and chemical resistance, as well as good noise and vibration absorbing properties. Its brilliance lies in the combination of the different materials.
Acrylonitrile increases heat and chemical resistance, butadiene increases durability and toughness, and styrene improves workability, reduces costs and provides a glossy surface.
