The Skimmer Slim is the perfect choice instead of the widely used traditional skimmer types for liner pools, ideal for filtering the water surface and removing debris.
Owing to the removal of the filter from the front of the skimmer, the skimmer can be installed in the pool without the need for any additional modifications to the pool edge.
The Skimmer Slim is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and is equipped with a 2-inch connector. Supplied in a set with a gasket and a polished front masking frame. The filter, which is also made of AISI 316 stainless steel, with a flow rate of 8 m³/h, can be replaced/removed through the front opening.
Can also be installed in liner, tiled and steel pools.
The task of skimmers is to remove floating debris (e.g. leaves, insects, etc.) from pools. The skimmer basket collects this detritus, therefore, it should be checked weekly. For optimum performance, set the pool water level to the centre of the skimmer opening.
Slow-dissolving chemicals, such as chlorine or flocculant tablets can be put into the skimmer basket, rendering the use of a separate floating chemical dispenser unnecessary. Most skimmer designs enable the vacuum-cleaning of the pool as well.
Stainless steel (also known as inox) is a steel alloy with a higher chromium content, more resistant to corrosion and staining, but contrary to its name, it is susceptible to corrosion, especially under low-oxygen, high salinity or non-ventilated conditions. The chromium oxide forms a passive layer that inhibits/decreases the further corrosion of the surface, and prevents rust from penetrating into the inner layers of the steel.
